Sims 3 pets Freeze

Hi..

Can you help me?...I 'm downloading sims 3 pets....but my friend told me that i need a nvidia 195...
because without it...it can overheat my video card..or lead to the "Blue Screen of Death"..
but i have a higher version of nvidia...do i need to install nvidia 195 or let it pass?...
