No "The Sims 3" folder!

Hello,
In the description of making my sims pets working, it tells you in the final step to put certain files in "The Sims 3" folder. I can only find my legally bought expansion packs, but not the base game. I have no idea why, and this problem seems to be pretty uncommon.
PLEASE HELP ME!

Did you install the base game via Origin?

No, I didn't.

or it is registred in origin if that's what you mean.

Right click on the sims 3 icon on your desktop and click "open containing folder " or "open file location". That should open the original sims 3 base game folder. Hope this help.

Yes, if you registered it via Origin, I assume you also installed it in/via Origin...
Because if you did, the base game's installation folder will be in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin . Doing as vharvey87 suggested should bring you to the same directory:
