Hello,
No, that's a bit much. Which numeric code are you getting with that error?

Hello,
Are you sure it's the latest fix? Are you getting the unofficial game modification error?

Hello,
If it worked fine, it wouldn't crash
These crashes are most likely the result of the unofficial game modification error which is caused by either an outdated crack or outdated mods.

Re: Service Initialization Fail.[SOLVED]
No, there are no mods or custom content installed. I have a question, will i have to apply the crack from the fix and completely ignore the disk's one? Because i applied it first from the disk and then applied the fix.

Re: Service Initialization Fail.[SOLVED]
Hello,
If you don't have mods, you have an outdated crack. Only apply the one from the fix.
I think you can solve this easily by opening the fix, and copying both files from its' #crack folder to the base game\bin.
If you're getting the same error, please post a screenshot of the folder you copied the crack to with the details of the files in that folder showing.

Hello,
Ok, start by turning off the in-game store, you don't need it and it can cause crashes. Look in the optionsmenu, I'm not sure which tab it is.

Re: Service Initialization Fail.[SOLVED]
Hello,
Anything I can find about this issue says it can be caused by outdated core mods, but you still don't have any do you?
Try this though: Go to (My) Documents\Electronic Arts and drag&drop the The Sims 3 folder on to the desktop.
Now start the game and see if it makes any difference. You'll have to start a new save for the purpose of testing this.
If it works normal, you can get your saves from the folder you dropped on the desktop and put them in the new The Sims 3 folder.
