world adventures region code error

world adventures region code error Empty world adventures region code error

I bought the sims 3 base game and am trying to install world adventures. do I have to download the sims 3 from here in order to play world adventures? isnt there another way to change the region code?

Hello,

Did you get World Adventures from us? Look inside the Installation Guide, it has instructions on how to change the SKU so you won't get the region error.
You can install it on your base game as long as it's not a Steam version.

i followed the instructions up to Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE but then i cant find SIMS after that


oh sorry for some reason i didnt bother to look below that sentence where it says "or... if you have windows 7"

actually i found it on the installation guide of outdoor living
