Sequential Summary using dæmons tools:
Mounted and Installed Sims 3 Reloaded
Updated it to most recent using the sims 3 home screen window
Mounted and Installed World Adventures
Mounted and Installed Ambitions
It told me I needed a verification code to play ambitions, so I thought okay. I'll just use a no-dvd patch. I did everything in the instructions of the retail version of ambitions vitality patch and I try it out and get this:

The Sims 3
Unable to start game
Unable to star. Please reinstall the base game.

What's the best means for solution and success now?
