Downloading Expansion pack troubles!

Hi,

I'm having some troubles... I downloaded The Sims 3 Showtime and made the setup and
it was okay. When I start the game it runs usual but then before I choose which city to play, it shows me a message that says that they don't know
if my the sims3 showtime is a valid copy and that I must contact the customer services.

Can anyone help, please?

Hello,

Use the crack from the fix and, if you haven't patched to 1.36 yet, the manual patch.

Hi,

um.. I have no idea what to do with either of those because i have virtual clone drive and the sims downloaded as an iso image and mounts with that.
My friend set it up for me when i had the sims 2. It's all double dutch to me haha

Hello,

Ok start with the patch, download it and when it's finished, double click to install. When it's done, open the fix and look for the #crack folder. The files in there are copied to the base game\bin.
When that's done correctly, you will no longer need the virtual image.
