The Sims 3 works fine but ...

It's been a while since I've been here and I've installed everything exactly as instructed.
Everything seems to be working just fine however I noticed in The Sims 3 launcher, that other expansions such as World Adventures have a out-dated patch. 2.0.86.002002 whilst the newest and / or latest is 2.14.4?

Same goes for all the other "old" expansions.

Did I do something wrong along the road?

I installed the base game and then installed each game accordingly of release, then I used the fix-all (latest) and did exactly what was suggested, tried updating (apparently no updates) and then put the final crack in the base game.

^,^ Hai. My launcher says 2.0.86.002002 for World Adventures and my game works fine, I have all the expansions and stuff packs. I shouldn't worry because I know my game is up to date, so unless there are any more issues, you can enjoy Sims 3 without any worries.

Hey thanks for your reply, the main issue for me is that I'm scared of missing out of added content in patches and / or bug fixes that I might come across again.

Also some time ago when I installed everything, all of the games were up-to-date and were kept that way.

This is just adventures, and I know for a fact that they are out-dated because back then I used to have them at a higher patch note.

EDIT:
Also if I manually download a Adventure patch latest or at least newer then current it does actually display as the new patch in the launcher.

Hello, also if you got any of the Sims 3 games from Games4theworld, then I would suggest to talk this over with LadyElDi or Admin because the cracks and fixes are to make the versions I posted above work. Newer ones may cause issues with the game.

Also its odd though because when I installed some time back they all got updated automaticly.

Maybe not the best place to ask but I might aswell ... I have some serious FPS problems from time to time especially when speeding time. However I surpass the minimum and recommended requirements to play.
Are there any mods / configures to increase the FPS besides disabling .explorer and giving it a higher priority?

I recommend doing everything as described here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly , skipping only step 1. The link the to the latest version of the manual patch can also be found there.

If your base game icon on the launcher is showing 1.36 (Hover your mouse over the base game icon on the launcher), then you're on the latest version of the game and you're not missing anything and no "old" bugs should occur.
If your game is working, don't fix what isn't broken. If you have any problems, follow the steps above or describe the problem to us, so we can guide you.

I was refering to the add-ons not the base game which is up-to-date. And the patch notes for the expansions involve alot of bug fixes and additional content.

Yes the FPS pretty much only decreases ALOT in speed time 3.

Oh and side-scrolling apparently. According to the internet its EA's lousy coding.

Since the release of (I think it was) Generations, the expansions don't get updated any more. Now, when you update the base game, all expansions will be updated automatically too.
(Re-)try the update referred to in the link I posted in my previous post.

Just the no-intro and no sparks. And all store items.

EDIT:
Also it was already at 1.36 with installing Diesel. It automaticly updated it via Diesel. But just the base game. I can try and overwrite it with the manual patch.

The manual patch made no difference. I'm also now after several hours in-game experiencing "game lag" that the game continues playing but time freezes for 5-8 seconds.

I have a new question however, two a matter of fact.

One:
- Can I just register the game and login to benefit from Simport etc. online features?

Two:
- Does anyone else notice that gaining experience in jobs and ranking up goes alot thougher after several jobs completed at 10?

Usually I finish the first job for example inmidiatly and rank to stage two with all the smileys max'd and stats included.

Now when I do this with everything max'd it reaches the half or just not enough to finish it.
