Sims 3 Stopped Working. [SOLVED]

So what happened is that my sim was in China and I wanted her to know everyone there, so I used the mailbox cheat and I waited for it to load. It took so long for it so I decided to turn on the task manager to turn the game off. Then it said "The Sims 3 Has Stopped Working" and it completely closed. So I start the game and when it was almost done loading the town, it had the error again. I tried a billion times but it was still there. I tried the DEP crash fix but it still wasn't working. What should I do?

Strange... it works for other games I've saved but not the one I had problems with...

Hello,
Did the save game get corrupted? Look in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves, and see if that save game has the .bad extension.

But the save won't load at all? Try the backup file.
Start by moving yoursavegame.sims3 to the desktop, now rename yoursavegame.sims3.backup, remove the .backup part and see if you can load it.
