Im having all sorts of problems. "not installed properly" bull i bought ths disk etc

ive installed the fallowing via disk

sims 3, generations, ambitions

i also downloaded a fix unfortianutly not knowing i idnt need it. i cant undo it

mor then likely ill just uninstall al my sims and reinstall them . but my main problem is i downloaded sims 3 pets via THE PB. succefully after 9 hours of waiting ive also figured out how to intall the expansion pack yet everytime attempt to intall it before i press next it says sims 3 isnt installed properly. but launcher want working for a bit then i properly installed the fix (since i cant really undo it) now my game says i dont have th proper disk to play the game.. this is so frusterating i wish i could just go buy the game..

Okay, no need to get mad or frustrated

If you followed the directions in the Ultimate Fix then hopefully you have a backup of the original un-cracked files. Copy them back to the Bin Directory(s) and over-write the cracked files (select Copy and Replace).

Now try launching the game. If it launches great, now you can install the 1.36 patch (either manually or with the game loader) and your EP/SP(s). After the game is fully patched and you have installed all the EP/SPs you want, then follow the directions for installing the Ultimate Fix and everything should be running smoothly.

If the game still wont launch after copying the original files back you can try uninstalling the last EP/SP installed, restarting and then launching the game. The Pets expansion does have a minor tendency to get corrupted during install, but uninstalling and then re-installing Pets usually fixes the problem.

Also make sure that you dont have any mods while updating and installing EP/SPs. Simply move them to a temporary folder and once your done installing evrything, move them back one at a time.

No need to replace the files, just install the v1.36 manual patch and that one will replace everything with the original files.
