Realy laggy slow .

My Problem is that sims3 runs very slow in general,sims move slow.camera moves slow.placing or building takes for ever...pattern and materials take a while to load.
ITs no fun at all playing.
I have delated all neighbourhoods to try to start over from 0.
so I created a 2 sims family and moved them into a loft in the city apartments.
edited the room(with testingcheats enabled and restrictbuildbuy...) and tried to save it just to make shure, it starts to save and took forever so i closed the sims completly. after restarting game my family was there but not even placed.
yesterday it even froze or maybe just took forever to change from building mode to play mode. (I didnt wait to see)
I had all the expansions but got rid of world adventures and pets before because i thought those may cause the lag.and i dindt like them so much so I didnt mind.

no custom content only mod is overwatch.

pc info is.

So that means re-downloading the Fix, to be sure you've got the latest version of it.

ok Fix installed and aplied with no problems..
so i just started game. It worked faster .
but same as last time.
Edited a public room in a apartment building.(a little bigger and put a couch in it and some lights no mayor changes) and when i try to switch from furnishing mode to game play mode its imposible ,loads and loads and loads..
any idea?

No , no errors at all.
it just goes slow.
and i have the ishue switching from building to play or furnish.

Especially step 6 is very important to try.

I installed the game booster and it seems to work a little better.
Loading times still a bit long as i just have one world and 4 sims created myself.
But I still cant edit apartmentbuildings in the city.( testingcheatsenabled,restrictbuildbuyin....)
When I do I can edit but i cant switch back to game play mode.
It starts loading and never gets to an end.I have to abort the whole game without saving.
not shure if im explaining what my problem is.

My game run very slow before too. I use CCleaner, it`s small program to clean out computer from junk files http://www.piriform.com/CLEANER (you also can get it for free in torrents). After I cleaned firs time I got 8 GB of memory on my hard drive and Sims 3 run twice faster.

Also if you on Vista turn off sidebar and graphic effects it`s also slow down game. I add Sims.exe (that come with fix) to DEP (in advanced settings of Vista) and after this my game stop crashing.

Admin Will be very cool if it were there))) It even wasn`t temp, it was some strange stuff that I before can`t find nowhere. I owner of this laptop not long time and when I got it it was so messed up

@Admin ,maybe the problem is that i didnt turn off the restrict build buy cheat.

As im no computer specialist at all. Im not a friend of deleting and enabling stuff so ill try cc.but the viedo things ill pass .

cafeina I don`t speak Spanish well, but I guess that 7GB it`s your temp folder. You can check it yourself. Go to the Computer/Local disk C/Windows and find Temp folder than right click and choose properties you`ll see size of folder. My is 112 KB (I use CC cleaner today). It`s safe to clean out Temp.
When I clean first time I had 8 GB to delete. The program should delete cash files and temporary files. If you`ll clean registry it will clean out information of old programs that you remove and something like this. After 2 days after I clean out my computer first time CCleaner again find 500 MB of junk.I do use this program every few days and for me it works fine. If you wan`t to keep passwords and log information of web sites you should unselect Coockies In Google Chrome folder (At the left in your screenshot). If you`ll delete them you`ll have to log in to all sites that you use again. A usually keep it, cuz I`m lazy.
I see you use Google Earth. It`s working while you playing Sims? For me stuff like this slow down all.

but still de editing apartments problem.there it gets stuck...should I open a new thread for that?

aswell i wanted to ask if I want to install ,diesel stuff ,master suite stuff etc ,do I need to aply the fix again?

cafeina You have a problem with buy debug and rectrictbuild...? Turn off all cheats before return to live mode. I also had this problem randomly. Cheats for me not always work great. I guess debag objects folder must disappear from by mode before you return to live mod, but I`m not sure...It`s a lot smart things in there, maybe if use it wrong it can bring some bugs. And if you just want place something like parking slot or bar in first floor moveobjects its enough.
If you want big apartments you can load it from exchange, I like videos on youtube where people build really great big apartments and give link to download it.

If you have last patch and fix you don`t need apply anything if you install only stuff. I got all stuff packs from Games4theworld after apply fix and didn`t had problems at all.

And use errortrap. It`s awesome mod that prevent bugs in game, cuz one bug can slow down and mess up all. And you`ll never get error 12 while saving.

At least it is playable.
the only thing is the problem with the cheats or the change between live mode and furnisching or building after using the cheats.
