The Sims 3 Ambitons. [SOLVED]

I d/l it applied the cracks that came with it but it wont play with my ambitions or sim 3 base game it said region is wrong. i applied fixes and the new update cracks to ALL of them including my sim 3 base game now none of them are working. i reinstalled restarted, i did everything now nothing wouldnt play and i'm fed up. If you can help it would be great but at this point i'm just thinking of buying the game to save me the grief.
