Can't find the installed package.[SOLVED] Empty Can't find the installed package.[SOLVED]

Hello,
I've downloaded a ball Very Happy from ATS. I installed it but after a while I wanted to remove it but I can't find.
First it was a Sims3pack file & I installed it through Launcher & then I uninstalled through it again. When I played the game I saw it & it wasn't removed. Then I removed the mods folder & ran the game again and it was removed. But how? How did sims3pack file find its way to the mods/packages? I tried the 50/50 method (finding the corrupt package by splitting them) but I got nothing. I mean, I finally found the group that the ball was somehow inside them & removed them but again the goddamn ball showed up AGAIN! Looks like there's some kind of virus that transfers the ball to the different packages or... I don't know. Now, how can I locate that ball & delete it, please?

Hello,

If you have the file name, do a windows search.
Did you by any chance use CC magic at some point after installing this ball with the launcher?

I searched sims3pack file's name & even turned it into package & searched its name but I couldn't find it.
I haven't been using CC magic for a while, so no, I didn't use it.

Ok try to clear your caches, step 6 in this post, if that doesn't do it, try all steps.

Hey lady, I've got a quick Q & need the answer right away:
I wanna upgrade my Windows to 8. Is sims 3 gonna have issues with it. Please, answer it as soon as possible.

Hello,

It's likely. There have been some graphical issues with The Sims 3 on Windows 8. Personally, I'd wait until windows 8 is released officially. The issue with The Sims 3 on windows 8 will probably be patched around that time.

I think so yes, since windows 8 is not the problem, it's drivers and updates that aren't ready for it yet.

Hello,

That's one resilient ball. How badly do you want it to go? A new The Sims 3 folder in Documents/Electronic Arts should do it, but that means reinstalling all your sims3packs (again).

Well, since a Basketball Premium Content is coming to the store, I want to remove it because it won't have any use. But if it's gonna take doing that, I'll just leave it. But now I know what to do if I have a world that isn't installed. Thanks for your helpful posts. Smile

I did it! Opened a new Sims 3 Folder in Documents & it's gone. I Mean, after installing CC's & mods of course. And yes, you may absolutely close the topic.
