The Sims 3 Various Issues

Hi there guys :newfag: to the forum and I would like to thank you guys for making these possible expansions and great amount of time you have put into it.
Im having various issues with the game, i currently have installed Sims 3 Base (Which i bought) and Katy Perrys expansion and Showtime, (For my girlfriend !, Keep her quiet for awhile
).
I have installed them correctly and done all the updates provided and the Sims 3 Fix file i download from here, when katy perry loads sometimes it stops at the end of loading bar and stops working, (Hasent done it since the FIX File,) I followed it step by step,
Main issue at the moment is getting past "Create a Household" Been loading for 20-30 mins now and had no Progress.
Be very thankful if someone could help me !

Presuming you have done everything correctly from the ultimate fix, could it be a mod you have installed? If you have any try removing them one at a time and starting your game to find the culprit.

Well unless a Mod was installed with the Expansions, i cant see how i could of installed one 
, Any other ideas ?

Have you updated the expansion pack to the latest version then applied the ultimate fix.
If you have, ill let one of the proffesionals helps you

How do i know its V1.38?
When i load the launcher it says Bottom Left
"Version 13.0.62.018001"

Hover your mouse over the base game icon on the launcher, in the lower-left corner of the screen.

I'm having an issue trying to avoid going to 1.38. I open the launcher and it says 1.38 available. I have the base game installed but when I follow the instructions on how to correctly install the sims 3 ---
1. Install The Sims 3 and all expansions you like, but install AT LEAST one of the following expansions: Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations.* (You may skip all the "# Crack" folders. You DO NOT need to use any "# Crack" folders!)
2. After you've installed all the games you want, download and apply this manual patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch
I cant get past step 1. I go to install an expansion pack and it says I need to update first. It will update to 1.38 so how I can avoid this?!

So all i need is a Clean install of everything? How would i refrain from the game updating

Hello,
Only use the manual patch. Don't allow any patches after that. That shouldn't be a problem though. Just turn off the automated patching in the launcher, and click "no" if the launcher asks if you want the latest patch.
