Cannot interact with pets (horse).

Just installed Pets, however I cannot interact with my horse. Cant mount, pet or anything. Cannot make horse drink, eat or anything else either. The interact-box shows in upper corner (like when I tell it to drink or eat) but disappears right away and the horse is sometimes froze in place.

Tried deleting cache, didn't work. Also tried resetSim, but without luck. What can I do?

Note that in the very beginning of a game, I can mount the horse and interact with it, but as Ive built my house/stables, and wanna start playing, its when it starts bugging.

No, however the game did pop up with a box saying that I had mods installed that might would cause bugs. However, there were no mods folder, and I have never used mods. Today it didn't show up, and the pets worked. The game did freeze randomly after many hours, but if this is because its a torrent-download or if its a random freeze, I don't know. It could be many things after all...

That could also mean an outdated or improperly placed crack. What is your base game version? And could you get a detailed screenshot of the folder you put the crack in?

When I used the crack from the Pets download the game didn't work at all (I did replace the base games files, not the expansion). Instead, I keep the original files and mount an .iso-file from a Showtime download (FLT) to start the game, and then unmount as I'm in. This solves the problem, as I then avoid using any crack and the game acts as if I have the original disc in.

The base game was 1.36 when I got it to work, however I have updated to 1.38 since then but unfortunately I don't remember what version it crashed on. I can only hope it was 1.36, and with 1.38 it won't do it anymore.
