Patching Sims 3 from 1.0.615.00107

Hello, :newfag:
I recently reinstalled The Sims 3 base game, and the version is 1.0.615.00107. I looked everywhere to update this to the latest version, and I have even tried to do it from the launcher, but it's says that the game is up to date, and it cannot be connected to Origin. I can use the sims 3 fix, however to download the expansion packs to get the fix working, I would need to update the game to a certain version, which I am unable to do do.
Any help will be appreciated.

when u install an EP that EP will update the game to the vertion of the EP auto so that will work doing it that way

No matter what, if you don't have Origin installed, the launcher will say your game is up to date.
