Sims 3 CAW Service Initialization Failed Error 0x0175dcbb Fix

After installing supernatural, applying the fix and updating the game, i found that CAW would not allow me to edit my world in game and would show the following error...

i googled my issue and found a few posts here with suggestions like renaming the TS3.exe file, reinstalling, cleaning the registry and restarting... i tried all of this and nothing worked. i almost made a post asking for help but then i thought i'd try applying the fix again after i had installed the latest CAW. she works like a charm now! strange i didn't find this method suggested in the forum, or i just missed it =/. anyway, i thought i'd inform others who may be having the same problem and hopefully save everyone a bit of time
