pc crashes during sims 3 game

Please help. During game play of the sims 3 my pc will just turn off. Totally switch off with no warning or error messages, just gone. I have tried everything that has been said it previous threads. I have no mods or custom content, I Tried game booster, tried backing up and removing sims 3 folder, i tried running it in windowed mode, i have been through the six steps listed in a previuos thread, but nothing seems to work. most times i cant even get through the create a household stage before it crashes, but then other times it will let me play for half an hour or so before it switches off??

where to from here???

I have all the expansion packs, everything from you guys, it happened before i downloaded supernatural, so its not that expansion.

Any ideas??

What about the DEP fix, did you do that one too? (Adding ALL the game's .exe files to the system's DEP)

Yes I did the DEP fix.
I have since done some testing on my pc as the only time my pc was crashing was during the game, and I tested my graphics card and whilst putting it through testing the pc crashed again. So Ive come to the conclusion that my graphics card is faulty and not the game itself. I will look into getting that fixed first then hopefully get the game working again.
Thanks for all your help. Maybe you could suggest to people with same issues as me to test their graphics cards too?

Yeah I looked into that. The drivers wouldn't update. It seemed to have some conflict with them when I tried to update, that's why I tested it. It's definately a bad graphics card and it's getting fixed next week so hopefully all will be fine after that.
