Sims 3 game crashes

Hi. My sims 3 game crashes when downloading CC and when trying to play the game. This happened after installing showtime but I re-installed twice, the second time following the new Ultimate Fix instructions to the T. Now I can't play anything I've even done the compatiblity to 95 and Run as Admin but nothing worked,

Plus It's not just Showtime anymore, I uninstalled it and it happened with the crashes, despite before that having no issues?

Note: Not installed to 1.32 partly due to a Invalid File. Which is helpful from what I heard about it but 1.31 is not working, used Manual Patch.

After un-installing, I don't having any, so I started downloading the Sims 3 Showtime Limited Edition Content you kindly gave out. Thanks for that by the way.

I tried the 3 and all crashed with the Windows 7 Crash, 'Sims 3 has Stopped Working'.

This is the error I always get, and for downloading CC.

Plus when I got rid of Showtime; this still appeared.

I think it would have worked but I have a bad feeling I did something wrong, like accidently in the wrong order. So, one question, how do you un-install the patch 1.32.003? So I can get 1.31 and do it again?

No! Don't uninstall anything. Not the game nor the patch.
Just re-download and re-aplly the latest version of the Fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems

The old one isn't compatible with 1.32.

Hi. Yeah, I did. Still crashes. But it wouldn't let me add Sims3Launcher to the non DEP. But I could add everything else and the S3Launcher.

Never used Simport. How do you turn it off? I hope I don't have to get to the start menu in the game because it crashes before that.

wanted to say; I read this topic hoping it will solve it because I have
the same issue, infortunately the solution did not work for me. I have
two Electronic Art Folders with 2 Sims 3 folders.

Merge the two EA folders and try again.

Yay, it's fixed. Applied the Fix after every install. Updated base game to current version first so fix would work.
