Problem installing manual patch- The Sims 3.[SOLVED]

Hello,

So I used Ultimate Fix to update my game, but on the last step I had an "Invalid File" error, so I was directed to this patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v138-fix-manual-patch

I tried downloading several times but it won't, and it's stuck saying that it will download in 2 hours or 1 hour etc.

Try a different browser. If it still shows a few hours, it's probably your (slow?) internet connection.
Note that the patch is about 1GB in size.

Downloaded yes, installed no, because when I tried installing it, it said it needed an update, so I figured out I should first install the patch. I do have Pets and Generations though.

Extract the Supernatural .rar file. After doing so, open the folder with the extracted files and then navigate to: Support\Updates\ <= In this folder you'll find the manual patch, called "TS3_1.38.151.0180xx_update.exe".

You can use that one, it's the same as the one we provide on our Forum. Good luck!
