Sims 3 camera lag and fps drop

Hello guys it s my first post here.I have a really annoying problem with sims 3 .Every time i move my camera the game is very laggy and my fps drop but when the camera is still the game works perfectly with 60 fps.My system specs are : i7-950,xfx 6870,4 GB ram.I ve installed the overwatch mod and master controller mod but the problem still exists.Do you think it s a game bug or my pc cant handle the game?
PS: the expansions i ve installed are ambitions,generations,master suite,high and loft,late night,diesel and supernatural.
I hope there is a fix thank you.

No just them, I tried the game without them but the problem still exists.
I havent done the ultimate fix do you think this may be the problem?i just did how to install sims 3 correctly

I had the same problem when I was using an integrated intel video card - what video card are you using, and is it fully updated? Your issue is probably caused by your video card.

Well my video card is ati XFX 6870 1GB.It s a high ranged card so i dont think its the problem.I ve intalled the latest drivers and enabled v sync so i dont know what else to do.i also install errortrap in sims but nothing happened.So you guys can run the game very smooth?what is your video cards and your mods?i hope there is a solution

Please use it to update your GPU drivers - just to be sure - and, if possible, choose "Custom" and "Clean installation" during the installation.
Also, restart your PC after the installation finished. Good luck!

I used the utility and it said that i have the latest drivers.It didnt find anything else.Well i think that there isn t any solution for me maybe my card isnt compatible with sims 3.By the way i can play other new games on highest settings with no problems except sims of course.i appreciate your help

Have you tried lowering literally all in-game graphics options? Including all "extra" options like "Smooth rendering" (Something like that).

yep there is still lag but not so much as with high graphics

Do you use Gamebooster at all? If not, I'd definitely recommend it.

Was a edit of their first post, and them getting 60 fps is really good, so not a issue with their computer being able to run it.

Actually in window mode its worse than fullscreen.It s getting me crazy!!!

Close out of the background programs you have running, like the one doing the FPS, and Instant Messengers.

What is your Anti-Virus also.

Well i did that.I use Microsoft essentials and i always disable it when i play sims. lag still exists

It's NOT recommended to disable your Anti-Virus for gaming.

Googled around a little and found this topic at pchelpforums related your graphics card and The Sims 3.

Mainly just reporting that the card might be overheating and with that would cause the lagging effect. So maybe try to position a fan to help move the air away from the graphics card.

I already have this update.The thing is that i could never play sims 3 smooth.I have changed 3 video cards with the same result lag lag lag.The first time i had gtx 9500 and the gaming was laging like crazy.Then i changed to GTS 250 with the same results.I was confused.And now i bought an ati 6870 thinking that i ve solved the sims 3 problem but no.I cant beleive that it s the only game that i could never (not a single time) play without lag.Maybe the problem is that the game is pireated? Do you guys play the game without lag?

Hmm, wondering if it could be your processor, check this site http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx and test The Sims 3: Supernatural, and let us know the results of it.

If you bought the game and installed it and applied the legal cracks, it would be exactly the same as you have it installed right now. No we don't have lag unless our computers are shy on the power to actually run it, or another problem.
