Error during startup. Can't fix it :([SOLVED]

Hello!

An acquaintance of mine got this message after he reinstalled the Sims 3 base game and Showtime, and tried to run the game via the short-cut. With Teamviewer I tried to fix it for him, reinstall, registry cleaning(like in the video that Admin posted), but still not working. Do you have any other idea to fix it?

Finally, I solved the problem! I searched for all the sims 3 registry entries on my own, and I deleted every one of them, then reinstalled everything and voila! Problem solved! Thanks for the replies!
