Game freezes constantly.. Help :(

Hello and thanks for the game fix it seems to help others in need.

I'm here today because I've used the ultimate fix and after I used it my game seems to be freezing up constantly, let me explain.

My game use to freeze well I cant even call it freeze, lets just call it lag. My game would lag after a couple mins of gameplay like it would lag for half a sec while playing I would be able to notice it as the sim or pets would be walking and all of a sudden they freeze (lag) for that second.

But now that I used the fix my game does the same thing but its every min and it freezes (it actually freezes not able to click move or anything but the water and trees are still moving with full animation) and it stays like that for about a min. And it never used to have that until i applied this fix.

Now I was wondering if its something within game or not. And it cant be my install cause it was working fine before and hours of gameplay

My computer is well over the spec it needs to play on high.

My specs are as follows

Cpu - AMD 6100FX @3.3hz
Gpu - PNY 560ti 1gb vram
Ram - 8GB @ 1600mhz dual channeled
HDD - 1.5tb on installed hdd and about over 100gb on main C: drive.

Anything else you guys need to know plz just ask..

Is your graphic driver up to date?

Have you tried to play it on the lowest settings to see if that solves the lag? Yeah, it will look horrible, but to narrow down the problems.

Any idea if you have a mod or cc that could be interfering? Move your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 to your desktop, and try to play and see if it does any better.

Na havent done any of that yet. But if it was running fine before just with the 1sec lag while did it just suddenly go to a freeze with the same mods and cc??

And yes my card is up to date. As a matter of fact when it started doing that i just updated yesterday and it still remains.

If you have older mods you want to make sure you update them because some stuff was changed/added in 1.38 so it makes them bugged, and can cause a bunch of issues.

Edit: But want to move them away first, just to make sure your not running with any, and see before adding stuff that might mess with it in.

Ok, just tested removed all cc. and stopped all runing downloads from the launcher.. and launched the game at first problem seemed to go away but it lagged horrible every sec was lagging, frezzing.. I turned down the graphics and still nothing just had more fps when the lag strikes it dropped around to 10.. from 100+ to 10..? holy***t.. lol
