EA just released a new patch, it says it will fix the zombies issue

I won't install it. Not yet at least, my mods are taking care of the issue just fine. I can't believe out of all the SN bugs (there are lots) that's the only one they're fixing.

Hey I have a problem , I accidentally updated my game to 1.39 and then came here and saw your warning ugg *palmface* i have Showtime from you guys and it says " No game Disk Found , Please insert the Sims 3 Showtime Disk before proceeding" Is there any way that this can be fixed in the future ? I really hope I dont have to uninstall my games.

Patch 1.39 won't even install in my game. It keeps saying Update Error: Invalid File Found.
A few days ago, I got a mod called Overwatch. So I thought that maybe that was the problem. So I dragged the "Mods" folder to my desktop. But the patch is still giving me the invalid file error. Maybe it's because I updated my NVIDIA drivers and ever since then, the 1.38 shown on the lower side of the launcher has been replaced with 8.0.152.018001.
I don't have Supernatural, so do I even need this patch? Do I have to download every single patch they give us? What if later on I can't install a patch for Seasons? I wanna get Seasons soon.
Is the reason I can't install this patch is because I downloaded 3 expansion packs for free?
I obviously have a lot of questions.

Hello,
You don't want that patch yet anyway. And you probably don't really need it, no.
The reason you're getting the "invalid file" is that your game is cracked. The fix and/or the manual patch (for 1.39) will fix that.

I will probably need to get 1.39 soon if I have to install the next patch that EA gives us. Correct me if I'm wrong, but these patches seem to only work when it's done in an orderly fashion. You can't skip either of them, I assume.
P.S. The "Update Available" message that pops up every time I open the launcher is really annoying.

Hello,
The manual patch and the fix. The manual patch is cumulative. You can skip this one, and when the patch for Seasons comes out, simply use the manual patch we'll have available then.
Why not bypass the launcher if the patch note annoys you
