question regarding game launcher updates. [SOLVED]

if an update becomes available in the game launcher, is it alright to go ahead and download it from the game launcher or should i download the manual patch again from here? i just don't want my game to get messed up.

You shouldn't patch through launcher or anyway else, if the Ultimate FIX isn't ready for the newest patch yet.

For your ease, we strongly recommend the manual patch!
But yes, you should be able to update via the launcher too, if you apply the Ultimate Fix correctly.
If you don't apply the Ultimate Fix correctly, the patch will stop mid-way and you'll have to re-download it all over. The manual patch doesn't have this, as you already have the complete file downloaded.

i think i haven't applied the ultimate fix correctly because when i tried to update via the launcher, it said invalid file error or something like that. i've been checking the manual patch link regularly and i notice it's updated to 1.39 but the ultimate fix isn't. ): i would rather update my game that way anyway, so any idea when the ultimate fix will be compatible with 1.39?
