[Sims 3] Still doesn't want to download stuff from the Exchange. (Error, please update your version)

I CAN'T EVEN.
Well hello.
I still have the same problem, after removing and re-downloading and following all of THESE steps and then following all of the Descrapify Area thing, my Launcher still says that it couldn't download the stuff from thesims3.com.
And well, if it can't be fixed I'll have to live without that haha.
Uhm, any suggestions?

Umm, so your problem is that you cannot download stuff from the exchange, or that you can't install it?

Install it. I can download it but then an error pops up, that I need a ''software update''.

Is your game up to date? If not patch it and try again.

Were you able to download/install from the exchange previously?

No. I tried the first time and it didn't work, then Admin told me to re-install everything and try it again. Nothing changed.

Yeah, I'm okay with it haha. It just would be nice to have some new Sims and stuff, since you can't create your own shirts and your own stuff on this one.

Wellll then, you don't want to use the exchange anyways, because the clothes on there, when they are custom, aren't always as good as they look, and the rest are just recolors. A site I'd recommend is modthesims.info. They require an account to download, but it's all free and the creators are usually pretty helpful if you have a problem with their content.

Ha ha LOL so true!

..and that's one of the reasons that I like THIS site so much, that and the fact that the stuff here is good stuff. You already have deCRAPpified it and it works great!

Sorry, not trying to hijack this thread, but wanted to just add that you're not the only one with 'sorry update' game . I have that problem too. So, I just live without it. What I want, I can get from here, or modthesims site.

And keep up the wonderful work here for us addicted Simmers!
