Sims 3 Ambitions gone Empty Sims 3 Ambitions gone

I downloaded Supernatural and everything works fine except when I try to create a new sim. Thier life ambitions are gone. The icon that shows up in its place is a heart. This goes for trying to customize their ambition too, so I can't create new sims. No idea what to do.
