Trouble getting Sims 3 to play

ok, so i downloaded the sims 3 complete, installed all the expansions, moved all the cracks to the correct folders, and am currently updated to 1.36. this is where im at currently.

when i moved the files from #crack to the base games bin folder i get an error telling me to check the log for more info. if i dont move the files i get the error i need diesels disk. i have updated to 1.39 and have uninstalled and re-installed over and over and just cant figure this out.

Are you applying the cracks in the expansions files?

yes, i followed the pdf instructions to the t.

Install what Expansions you want, just need to make sure one of the following is also installed.

Supernatural, Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations!

After that apply The Ultimate Fix, and you should be good, if your messing with the Cracks in the download for the expansions, you don't need to use those.

thats what im using, i downloaded the ultimate fix, and copied the 2 files out of the folders from the fix and moved them into the appropriate folders replacing the old. and i have all of those except supernatural downloaded, i know to not put the diesel, katy perry, showtime etc into their expansion folders but to put them in the base game folder

Have you tried updating?

just updated to 1.39. now when try and open the sims it says "there was an error during start up. please see the log for more details."

Are all the lights lit up?

all the lights were lit up before when i was at v1.36. and no i installed all the games individually one by one.

Just a question did you update in between installing

no installed them all first. then updated to 1.36. all the lights were lit. but in the fix the instructions say to move the files from the #crack folder to the base games bin folder for the no cd crack. after i do that i get the error "there was an error during start up. please see the log for more details". before i move the files i get the insert diesel disk error. and now i updated to 1.39 i only get the "there was an error during start up. please see the log for more details" error

Which EPS are you installing?

base game, world adventures, high end loft stuff, ambitions, fast lane, late night, outdoor living stuff, generations, town life stuff, pets, master suite stuff, katy perry, and diesel stuff. after i got it working i was gonna install whatever ones im still missing. i think its just supernatural.

Have you moved the files in the fix to their folders like you did with the crack folder?

ya. i move them all and then i update, and the launcher all the little lights are lit up, and if i dont move the files from the #crack folder i get the need a disk error. and once i move the files i get the other error.

Weird everything should be working fine. The only thing I can think of why it isn't maybe is not updating between installing.

if anyone has a link to the base game and all the expansions that work ill just uninstall and reinstall the new one
