Unable to patch

Hi, I have I followed all instructions of applying the Ultimate Fix and have downloaded the update. However, while upon opening the update.exe, I came across this error:



This error pops up whether I use Origin to try to install the patch or manually install it. I can't seem to update Sims.

Re-downloading did not seem to do anything different for me please post if it ends up working for you

I uninstalled and redownloaded everything and it worked perfect! However, the error was apparent even as I tried to uninstall but fortunately found another way to uninstall without using the uinstalling setup.
