Sims 3 Not Responding. [SOLVED]

Hey Guys,
Every 15-20 minutes after playing Sims 3 it suddently crashes .The screen turns black and after that the "Sims 3 is not Responding" error appears .I really have no idea how to fix this problem ,i have all the sims 3 expansion packs tried to add them all to DEP, even disconnected my pc from internet while playing and the game still crashes .

Maybe try one of these:

* Make sure your video card drivers are updated.

* Make sure Windows are updated.

* Maybe reinstall, but allow it to install in the default C:\

Have you had your game previously working before in the D:\ directory?

I used to run the game on my desktop with a older video card ..but i bought a laptop and it's the first time i try the game on it :d On my desktop the game worked fined in directory D:/

Ahhh. Some laptops can't handle the SIms. I used to try with mine (Toshiba Sat. L755) and I had probs with not only the going to black and crashing, but sometimes it would have locked up.

I fixed it (somewhat) by going to Toshiba's website and looked up my video card, there was an actual fix for my video card to play sims.

The monitor is cut (like a reversed letterbox view), everything is smaller, but works.

I rather use my desktop.

So anyway, check your manufactor's website and see if the video has any fixes or patches aimed towards games.

THe thing is that i have Nvidia Geforce 610m and my video card isn't supported by nvidia website:)

Sorry for the double post but i forgot to mention that i have some mods too ..but all of them are mods from the official sims 3 store and nothing from other sites like tsr modthesims etc... I think it's pretty rude the problem to be that mods since they were released by ea games

It's wired because newer games with better graphics work perfectly but my sims keeps crashing... Do yoi think if i install it in partition c there will be any change?

WoW ...i reinstalled all the games in partition C ,i updated my driver ,deleted all my sims 3 store items and downloaded from Games4theWorld and seems like the game works fine now .
I've kept it opened for 2 hours and no crashing or any errors .I am so happy now that it finally works.

Not sure which was the real problem but i think it's fixed now.Thank you so much for replying to my topic .You are the best:D
