Sims 3 Freezing on Startup and crashing when saving.

I recently uninstalled and then reinstalled my Sims 3 base game and all Expansion packs ( I have all of the expansion packs, but no stuff packs) I have no CC and no mods. The game was working beautifully for about a day, then it began to crash to my desktop every time I tried to save my game with the message, "The Sims 3 has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution to the problem". Now, I can't even get into a game because it freezes before I even get to the loading screen, I can't even get to the main menu. When I click the play button on the Sims 3 Game Launcher, the screen goes black for a while, then the EA icon flies up on screen, but freezes at an angle to me. (This is right before the "this is good" sound and the explosion of plumbbobs, which is then followed by the intro video and then loading - but I hardly ever get to that point anymore) Occasionally it will snap out of it and finally load, but most of the time I end up having to just turn off my computer because I can't even get back to windows. Again, I have no CC and no mods. It never did this until I installed Supernatural for the first time, and is why I reinstalled my games. Someone please help!
