Graphics causing auto shut down?
Hey, i was just wondering, will it crash if I set the resolution of the sims 3 to (16:9) coz if the default setting is so small and low quality of graphics, my laptop achieve all the minimum requirement. Can i just make it higher?

Hello,
As long as your laptop can handle it, there's no harm in trying a higher resolution. Your game probably won't crash, but it is a case of trial and error. You'll notice when the resolution becomes too high, if your game performance drops.
I wouldn't start with the highest possible resolution unless your laptop is top of the line and uses a graphics card instead of a chip. Just start with the next option and work your way up until your game starts to stagger, that's when you know you've reached the maximum capability.
