Sims 2 pets Empty Sims 2 pets

When i told my dog in sims 2 to go and sleep on the bed, he did so but then the owner stood by the bed waving his arms around like an idiot. I told him to go to the other side but he just complained. Some sims are really brainless. lol!!!!!!!!! I was wondering if this is another glitch in the sims 2.
