Massage & Sauna problem - blank options

Hi there,

I have been having a problem with the Zen Massage Table and the Sauna for ages, I have tried store fixes and tried deleting the sims folder and restarting new games but nothing seems to fix it. There are option boxes available for selection and if I select them then a massage etc, is carried out, but I have no way of knowing what each option is because they are all totally blank.

Anyone else been having this problem and is there a solution?

I have all the expansions except Showtime installed and use the G4TW store fixes and game patches.

Thanks for the reply Lady ElDi. Yes, I have the latest store fix from G4TW and have installed it as per the instructions.

I have been trying to find the files on G4TW file sharing site, but I don't know which month the Massage table and Sauna are in; any ideas?

Oh right, yes I have done that and it doesn't solve the issue. I am now trying to delete the items from the game completely and replace them, I'll see how that goes!

Deleting them and reinstalling the items didn't work either; so annoying!

Yes Sims3Packs.

The Sauna and Massage are Gold Items only from Sunlit Tides only and can only be downloaded with Sunlit Tides - to my knowledge that is.

Regarding the problems with blanc options, did you delete your cache files after installing the Stores Fixes?
Be cause you need to do that in order to make them work.

Or it would be like standing in a linie when the cashier is missing.
What you need to do is, make this first one in linie to run out after a new cashier and take her/his place in linie to get everything moving/working again and not putting a new item in your basket.

Try deleting cache files and try again.

Nope, that didn't work either. I've decided since I am spending more time trying to get the game to work than actually playing it to totally reinstall all the game and expansion packs and then the custom content, hopefully this will rectify the problem :-((

So reinstalling sorted the problem with the sauna and massage table but now the game keeps crashing, there doesn't seem to be anything in particular that triggers it. Is there an easy way to check custom content rather than taking it all out and then putting it back one by one?

As far as I know, taking out everything and then putting back in groups of like 10 and then testing your game is the easiest way.

Ok, it's not the package files, I removed those and there was no difference, it still crashed.

I have noticed that some of the custom content items (Sims3Packs) are not showing within the game even though they have gone through the installer on the launcher. My issue now is I am not entirely sure which sims3packs are custom content from the store and which are custom content that could be causing issues. I am now assuming the only way to find the culprit is to go through the installed content screen on the launcher and un-install content from there? Long, long job!

It all ran before I installed Seasons and it's getting a bit boring now! The crashes all seem to occur when I come out of build mode or buy mode or into edit town.

Any other suggestions besides me spending another day sorting custom content instead of playing the actual game!! lol ;-)

It either just crashes or I get Error 12 when saving. I may just uninstall Seasons until there is a patch then.
