not allowed to uninstall

Hi, guys, so here's what's bothering me. I can't uninstall it from the control panel. I just want to get rid of all of the sims and then install it all over again, because I messed up while cleaning my computer. Here's the message windows give me every time i try to uninstall.
"You don't have sufficient access to uninstall the sims 3. Please contact your system administrator."
Tried using "safe mode" - didn't help. Any ideas?
