The Sims 3 keeps crashing in CAS :( tried everything!

Hi! this is my first post so i don't know if i'm doing it right but ever since i installed seasons, everytime i go into CAS i can create one sim then when i click on the add sim button, it crashes. it happens everytime! nothing works! i have tried EVERYTHING!!! PLEASE HELP I MISS SIMMING 
i have all the eps/sps
no mods/cc
added all exe to DEP
running with gamebooster
tryed lowering graphic settings
i have tried all of those and is still doesn't work! it is so frustrating!

Hello,
And it worked fine before? Try this:
Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and backup the The Sims 3 folder. Now delete it and test the game.

it did not work
it got a little further than usual but then it crashed..

sorry for the late reply... i was kinda busy. but this is really starting to frustrate me. i tried all of the stuff on that list and nothing works. last timed i played i didn't even get to the second sim. it froze when i was choosing traits. please help!

Hmm lets see, try steps 2-4 on this page (again). The manual patch can sometimes fix weird errors.

It may be that there's nothing to do except wait for the next patch and hope it's fixed with that.

Sadly that won't matter, since our copies are unmodified like the cd/dvd's, so our copies are identical to your retail versions.

Did you actually re-download the manual patch and the Ultimate Fix, when Lady ElDi recommended you to re-do those steps?

ok, so i uninstalled using uninstaller pro program, then i restarted my computer and reinstalled. i loaded up sims 3 and went to Create a household and got to the second sim's makeup. then it froze. it freezes but the music still plays and i end up having to start task manager to exit the sims 3. on task manager though it says it is not responding. does change anything? thanks again for helping me through this problem
