After following "How to install the Sims 3 correctly"

Followed "How to install the Sims 3 correctly" guide, I installed the base game and ONE EXPANSION "Seasons" and the game works fine. Thank you so much.

Now I want to install other expansions as well. Should I install more expansions and then repeat step 2 - 4 in the guide again??

It depends on which other expansions you want to install. After a certain point in time all patches went straight to the base game instead of each expansion as needed. If you're not installing World Adventures or Ambitions (I -think- those are the only two) then you shouldn't have to do the manual patch, just the ultimate fix. To be safe you can do as you expected - it won't update if an update isn't needed.

If you follow those instructions, you should already have the latest version of the game.
If you want to add more expansions, just install those expansions, but do not apply any more "# Crack" folders, only install the games.
After that, start your game. If it works, don't fix what isn't broken. If it didn't work, indeed, just re-do step 2 to 4 and your game should work like a charm again.
