Installing Late Night EP.[SOLVED]

I was wondering about how to install Late Night. I read on here that all I have to do is install it normally like the other EP & SP. But from reading the instructions included in the download. It says that I have to uninstall everything and something about installing the base game as well as the the ambitions ep and the diesel sp. Now idk if im suppose to disregard the instructions that came in the download and just follow the simple directions that are posted here (the way the other ones have been installed).

Im also confusedon how to go about installing the outdoor living sp.

OK so i have a question: should i install the EA downloader? I've read else where that this will only cause problems.

Personally I have not installed that downloader cause i've been manually patching my game with the manual patches here and i've yet to come across any conflicts with my installations.

Installing EADM shouldn't cause any issues.

Doesn't it conflict when you try to update using it? I thought I seen a lot of topics where it's suggested to not use that?

However i installed it anyways because the instructions said so. however now it wont let me update even though it shows an update available. so i used the ultimate fix crack for Late Night and it still won't work
note: every time i close it now it says that the game launcher has stopped working and idk why?
now im downloading the manual patch to see what'll happen

Question: do i have to re-download the ultimate fix every time because i already used it once. but do i need to re-download it because I already used the crack from the other ultimate fix that i downloaded?

If you have Origin, and you should because not having it may cause issues, then you have EADM. In fact, EADM is the old name of Origin

I just installed the manual patch. Now it's updated and everything but when i click to try and play it's says that there's an error and to install the "seasons disc"

so only copy the files in the #crack folder and NOTHING else from any other of the other folders, right?

Um about those directions. Last I used the manual patch there were no instructions on what to do. I know somewhere on the site it says if you use the ultimate fix with the manual patch you need to use the manual patch in step ten of the ultimate fix, I think it's that step, instead of the regular.

So just did as you instructed, only copying the #crack folder to the base games' folder and the same message appeared : "no disc found! please insert The Sims 3 Seasons game disc before proceeding"

so even after having copied the #crack files, i can still go in and copy the files in the other folders to their specific ep and sp folder in the game. Or do i have to go and download the ultimate fix and copy the #crack again as well as copy the specific ep and sp files to their folders in the game. im confused...

Im sorry i dont know anything about computers/electronics or software like that

TeamViewer is a program that allows others to do things on your computer remotely - or in this case, it would be like me coming over to your house and sitting in front of your computer to fix your Sims 3 installation. You will see everything that is done and can disconnect at any time. You don't have to install it (when you run the installer click the button that says "Just Run" or whatever).

Edit: Copied all of the files to the proper locations, re-did the manual patch. Seasons would not light up in the launcher - all others installed were lit. Tried: reinstalling Seasons (manually ensured registry was clean after uninstall), checking the ProductID (it was 16, as it should be), changing the SKU, installation location and filename, and a myriad of other things. Final action was to put everything in DEP and disconnected hoping it would light up after a restart.

So i restarted my computer and everything, opened the launcher and the seasons still didn't light up. However when i clicked to play it said, " no game disc found! Please insert The Sims 3 Town and Life Stuff game disc before proceeding" but the Town and Life ep is lighted up

Yeah, it's saying Town Life because it's not detecting Seasons for whatever reason. It's really odd that Seasons isn't being detected. I'll search around and see what I can find.

Just to confirm, could you go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic
Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and tell me the modification date of the files
TS3W.exe and TSLHost.dll ? I'm confident I copied them (multiple times,
actually) .. but a little reassurance doesn't hurt.

Also, these files for Late Night: TS3EP03.exe and TSLHost.dll
