Hello,

Im having problem playing the game when i start it error apears "unable to start game, service initialization failed (0x065d0274)". I looked at forum that people have the same problem. I applied fix and its not working. Ive looked at few threads but didnt find anything useful. My latest expansion is sims 3 showtime i have to download diesel stuff, supernatural and seasons. Some advice would be nice Smile

What error do you get when you try to start the game via the launcher?

I am having the same problem, When I open the launcher and try to install Custom Content or start the game, it pops up with an error saying: "unable to start game service initialization failed (0x065d0274)". I first thought it was because my game wasn't up to date, so I updated to 1.57 (with manual patch) and then I applied the fix. This did not solve the problem. I would appreciate help, and thanks!

Hello,

Please go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3, and remove the mods folder. No need to delete it, just cut and paste the "mods" folder to a location outside of the "The Sims 3" folder.
Now test the game. If it runs, the problem is with one of your mods.

If this doesn't work, let us know, and if you're not the topic starter, please open a new topic. That'll make it easier for us to keep track of what is going on.
