Which drive do I install to?[SOLVED]

Does it matter where I install the Sims 3? My C: drive is only 50 gb and it's only got 30 gb free. I was thinking of installing it in my D: drive which is 100 gb free. If I'm planning to install all the EPs and Stuffs, is 30 gb enough or do I install to the D: drive? I'm just worried the manual patch and ultimate fix won't work if I don't install to the correct drive.

I also installed my Game on D: I manually created the folders in it and it works for me. I just make sure whenver I install an expansion it is in customized settings and installed directly in D:

Everything will work just fine, as long as you change the installation location during the installation (Choose "Custom" installation and then select a new path to install the game in), instead of drag & dropping the files after installation.
