Sims 3 crashing

Hello.

I recently downloaded and installed Sims 3, as well as the ambitions and late night expansions. I carefully followed all of the instructions, and then my game started to crash whenever I would put the game into live mode. Eventually it told me I had an invalid copy of the Sims. So I looked up on the forum here which told me to install the outdoor living expansion, which I did. Followed all of the instructions and patched everything up even with the "ultimate FIX". (used the most recent crack into the outdoor living expansion)

It continues to crash every time I put the Sims into live mode.

Again I have the base game, ambitions, late night, and now the outdoor living. I didn't think I needed all of the expansions, but just in case.

I really hope I can get this solved with your help. : )
