Family Tree won't open

Anyone have a problem with the Family Tree not opening? I click the button, and nothing happens. I have all EP & SPs, and all updates installed. Everything else in the game seems to work ok, but I did have a problem where my wife was somehow in a romantic relationship with her daughter. I had to convince the wife to break up with the daughter, and now the daughter is forever mad at me.
It sucks because I finally have a couple generations of this family going, but can't see everyone without the family tree!
any help would be appreciated...

Yeah, mostly stuff I've downloaded from g4tw mediafire account.. and I'm using their store fixes too.
