The Sims 3 WA

I've downloaded the base game, and changed the regedit number to two, but when I try to download the patch. It says it may have installed wrong and I can either try to re install it or say its fine... what do I do?

Hello,
It says about a wrong region, right?
That means that you didn't change the (correct) SKU value to "2". If you couldn't find it, please take a look in exactly this path in the registry editor: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Sims > The Sims 3
It should be there.
