Expansions won't appear as installed in the launcher

Hi, i have a problem with the expansions.. I installed every expansion (except for the stuff ones) without any trouble and following step by step the installation guide, but when i open the sims 3, on the bottom of the launcher, where it shows which expansions you have installed, there are a few (late night, ambitions, generations) that aren't recognized as installed, and if i try to launch the game from one of those expansions icon, it asks if i want to download an update for the expansions.. i did it for late night, and then it asked me to reinstall it (which i haven't done yet just in case) but it still doesn't appear on the launcher and i can't play those expansions :/ help please!

weird.... just make sure your base game is up to date 1.47 it should also update the rest of the remaining EPs this happened to me but I can still see the EP contents on my game

I had a similar problem. I reinstalled all the expansions that were not showing as installed and then they worked fine. When I reinstalled, it warned me that the expansions were already installed and asked if I wanted to overwrite. I said yes, and everything worked fine after. My first clue that something was wrong was that I didn't get the right splash screen for the latest expansion I had installed after the launcher. I did have some of the content, but not all of it.

This has happened to me a couple times. What has always worked for me is to close the game and reinstall the expansion pack quick and it shows up. (As long as everything is up to date )
