1.47 or the one that has the fix for the music/sound which is 1.48.

Hello,
That bug is indeed fixed in version 1.48 of the game. In order to update safely, just re-do step 2 to 4: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
Re-download both the manual patch and the Ultimate Fix.
