Visiting other players sims towns?
Is there a way to log into the game and do the sims updates on the sims site? Or do I have to buy one of the games to do that? The little yellow boxes keep appearing in game and I want to go to other friends sims towns...?

Hello,
Those yellow boxes can be disabled by turning off the in game store.
You can let your sim visit your friends' towns. But you can't actually be there yourself.
I'm not sure which sims updates you mean. The objects from the store? You can find them here.

Hello,
That requires an original serial code, I'm afraid.
You need to register at least one game, doesn't matter whether it's an expansion pack or just a stuff pack.

Re: Visiting other players sims towns?
Hello,
You can earn badges, and create custom posts. What you can't do without at least 1 registered game is:
Share your sims memories and send or receive anything to/from your friends, including sims.
What you will never be able to do is visit your friends' towns. You can send your sim to visit but at that moment you loose control over your sim, you as player are not going with your sim and you will not see your friends' town. That's only with The Sims Social (facebook game).
