Hi I've been having some issues lately with my game.When I was on version 1.42 everything worked fine but since I've updated my game to version 1.47 and later to 1.48 I just can't play. It keeps on freezing and crashing and takes an awful lot of time to load up. At one time it even had an 'overflow of light' in game. I tried everything to make it work:Removing cc and mods,deleting caches,compatibility mode,ultimate fix.....Nothing seems to be working...

Hello,

Try backing up and removing this folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\

Freezes less often....I guess I'll just have to revert back to 1.42 since I won't be using the Decades expansion...

Hello,

You can do that by uninstalling and reinstalling your base game, taking care not to patch past 1.42, and make sure you're using the right crack.
Don't forget to restart your pc after uninstalling.
