The Sims 3 Pets Expansion Disk Authorization Failure

Hi,
I have a purchased copy of The Sims 3. I torrented the Pets expansion and I followed the fix you guys had on the site correctly, tried the manual update (was already updated to that version). I double checked to make sure the cracks were posted to the bin folder for The Sims 3 game and not the expansion folder. I can load the game up fine but when it gets to the town screen a message pops up saying "Disk Authorization Failure. Please contact customer support". If I try to open the application from the folder I get a "The Sims 3 has stopped working" error. Not sure what I did wrong because I tried everything possible (I think at least).

I would post a screenshot but apparently I'm not allowed to for a week because I'm a new member.

Any ideas?

Are you using any mods or cc?

Did you let the manual patch run, even though you are already updated to that version?

Are you sure you used the files out of the "#crack" folder, and not the folder with the ridiculously long file name?

As for the screenshot, you can put a link to the picture, and just replace the (.)'s with "Dot" or something along those lines, and it can be fixed later on.

Or just drop the http://www. part of it so it ends up like google.com or something.
