Sims 3 game bin not there?

Hiiii,
I have previously sucessfully installed sims 3 and several expansion packs, then my sims 3 game launcher stopped working. So I read some other things and it said to uninstall sims 3 and the expansion packs.
My sims 3 is the disk copy which downloaded fine, but I have several expansion packs from your site, I tried to do my first 70s,80s and 90s but when I went to drag and drop the crack folder to my sims 3 game/bin it was not there?
So if anyone has had this problem, please could you help )

Follow those directions, installing all expansions you want (without using any cracks), applying the manual patch, then using the ultimate fix. If, when you get to the fix, you still have an issue, then let us know. Or is there ends up being another problem.

thanks, but do I need to drag and drop the patch or the ultimate fix ? because I have no file to drop them too
the three folder I see in my computer/local disk (C:)/programme files (x86)/ electronic arts is just EADM, the sims 3 pets (even though its uninstalled) aswell as seasons.

Was your base game installed using origin, by any chance?

Yes, I never realised this could affect it? Is there a different way I have to do it ?

I think I have figured out what to do!
I was having a look around my local disk file and found origin games which had sims 3 inside. Is this where I do everything as usual?

Thanks, I did that and it was working fine. I then went to create a sim, made my family went to edit relationships then it keeps processing for ages, and then just doesnt do anything! Any Idea what it could be?

Are you using any mods/cc?

How long are you giving the game to load?

I left it for like a hour, still nothing. I have deleted all custom content incase i downloaded a dodgy one. hopefully that will resolve it

If it didn't work either, please back up and remove this folder completely, just to be sure that you got rid of all Mods and CC: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\

my cc used to work fine, no problems.
Everything I had was only off the sims 3 exchange, does this mean I cant have anything anymore?

Sorry for the late reply!
No, no need to spam, being patient would do. (We've all been extremely busy this week and therefore could not reply to your topic in time)

What I mean is navigate to this folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\ , you'll see a folder called "The Sims 3". Right-click on it and choose "Copy". Now paste it somewhere else on your PC and keep it as a backup file, in case we need to restore the folder.
Now REMOVE this folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\ , but keep the backup you created.
