Sims learn skills too fast!

First topic message reminder :

At first I thought it was normal, given the fact that my sim was
artistic, and the first skills she learned were painting and guitar,
(but still, at a ridiculous speed), but then, when she was trying to
learn how to drive, well, the car wasn't even moving yet and she had
learned one skill already! The whole process took less than half a
minute (at speed one in the game). Is this because of patch 1.50? Either
way, somebody, please, help me!!!

Well, my sim went to university, and everything was back to normal- finally! But she got her degree and went home and the skill learning is glitched, yet again! Aaargh! In university town everything is fine, but once I go home, it just starts all over! Will this ever be fixed?

So I tried that mod that makes the skill gaining process slower... A LOT slower!!! Ok, I thought that the glitch and the mod would somehow balance each other out, to recreate the regular speed, but it was not the case... Now it's way too slow to ever work for me,... and I mean, I guess it would be fun, but my sims cannot just spend their whole lives in university town... Please, I need a solution for this...

Hmm, maybe you should name Documents/User/user/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 folder to The Sims 3_backup. Youu will create a new one by launching the launcher. After that, put your saves back to the new The Sims 3 folder. Hope that helps!

Try a different variation of the mod, one that doesn't make them go quite as slow.

It is indeed a bug on patch 1.50...its happening to many people...

My sims attain level 9 gambling skill with just two hour play with the slot machine....
