Sims 3 University Crack Problem

I'm having a problem with installing University Life, I installed it from your link, https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t10656-the-sims-3-university-life-out-now-download-link, and applied the crack included. It didn't open properly, so I used the Ultimate Fix. I got to the part when you have to update the game, I opened the launcher, and it looked fine. When I tried to press update, it either says "could not connect to origin" or the launcher stops responding. So I assumed I didn't need v1.50 since I got University, so I applied the crack at the end of the ultimate fix. Right after that, I get "There was an error during startup. Please see the log for details." If I use TS3, I get "Unable to start game. Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb.)" I'm sure its the crack that's not working because without it the game launcher doesn't crash.

same goes with me, i can play the base game but everytime i try installing university this error pops up.

i downlaoded the manual patch, ultimate fix, followed the steps on how to install it properly, and i even reinstalled it a dozen of times already but still to no avail. even if i do not try applyin the crack, the error still pops up, same goes when i apply the crack aswell.

I would really appreciate any help i can get because im close to giving up now.

i did use ccleaner too everytime i try reinstalling and still no success. both my files (base&university) are G4TW and i only have the university expansion.

also, it says error whenever i try opening the launcher

I can tell you that the crack works, seeing that I've been playing it just fine since I've installed and applied the crack. Now I know these questions may seem stupid but I must ask to try to help.

Is your computer plugged in? Lol just messing.

Seriously though, when you applied the crack did you put it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin

Also, did you copy and REPLACE the files that were already within that folder?

Yes, I copy and REPLACED the files. I've done this for every single pack on here, and so far they've all worked. Last time I got this problem, and I used
CC Cleaner to fix the registry. That's not working this time tho...

Having an issue related to a closed thread, and exact same issue has appeared here.... SO.... Seeing as the fixes posted in various threads dont work/dont apply to me, I will post a full in depth issue here.

What am I seeing? ; "Unable to start game. Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb.)"

What have I done about it? ; Edited reg through best of my knowledge, and didnt take any chances on distrupting, so confirmed most changes.

Has it helped? ; No. not the slightest.

Region is fine on all as far as I know(yes, world adventures & main sims do match).

All dir's match the location of each part on dot(including caps, & special characters)

Any hints as to what im doing wrong?

That's quite odd, the only other thing I could suggest would be to manually patch your game. If that doesn't help then you'll probably have to wait for Admin to help you out. Sorry for the inconvenience, hope you find a solution soon!

Just realized I had sims 3 installed a long time ago, and did a "delete" uninstall. doing a full uninstall of all now, and hopefully will work upon reinstall.

Nope. reinstall full doesnt work.

The link instructions are not working. I followed the video, but I installed every expansion, so I cannot delete any. Sad

I never uninstalled either, so I can't delete any registry files. I tried this before, and it worked, but after University it stops working...
